State of the Fleet: August 1, 2012

Last month Theta Fleet celebrated two milestones.
First, we celebrated 2 1/2 years as a fleet.
Second, I reached my one-year anniversary as the Fleet Commander.

I've been with the fleet from the beginning, first as DCinC and now as CTF. I am pleased with the way the fleet has developed. We have a great group of COs and players. The missions are engaging and the writing is great!

Even with the Summer Olympics, summer vacations and general business, people are posting and new people are joining the fleet. I may be biased, but I think Theta Fleet is the best fleet on the net!

This month, we also have the return of the Borg. Not exactly the Borg you're used to. They've learned from the past and adapted. Stay tuned for more details later.

We also have a great joint mission focusing around Starbase Typhon. The Starbase has disappeared. The Calypso, Edison, Jefferson and Paris have been called in to help solve parts of this mystery. It promises to be a great story arc!
